Hi my name is...

Wow I can't believe I finally did it, registered my own blog, procrastination almost got the better of me. The obvious and expected thing is to obviously introduce myself.

My full name is Phumelele Sithole, everyone calls me Phume & I was born and bred in KZN, I moved to Johannesburg in 2007 to work for Procter & Gamble.

I am a daughter to such loving, God-fearing and supportive parents, a sister to two borthers whom i love dearly despite how angry they may ever make me, an aunt to an adorbale nephew who is just as naughty as his father was when he was younger! I am a girlfriend to such a wonderful man witha big heart and dreams, a friend to very few who fill my gaps in different ways and a dreamer who loves life and believes she was born at the right time :)

I hope that you will enjoy this blogging journey as you get insight on what and how I think, let's go!!

Much love xxx

A must-see for all South Africans!

I saw the new Leon Schuster movie yesterday "Schuks Tshabalala Survival Guide to South Africa", my day was not greatest because I was trawling the mall with a grumpy boyfriend and we both needed a good laugh.

My expectations was of a movie with "fake foreigners" -(normal South Africans that speak in a foreign accent) who would be on a tour of South Africa with Schuks Tshabalala as their guide and he would show off all the country's issues from a humorous angle...and that's exactly what it was!The only difference was that the movie was more in the form of skits than an actual storyline nonetheless it still had me in stitches and clutching my tummy in pain. It's a really good movie and a must-see for all South Africans!

The school holidays are coming up, I would recommend you take the whole family and have a real good laugh!

Feel it, it's here!!

I needed to go and do some shopping this Saturday and Sandton City is the closest mall to where I stay but considering the influx of foreign visitors in our country due to the FIFA World Cup, I decided that I will try to avoid it until is over.

This is how I ended up at the Melrose Arch Mall, which turned out to be the best decision I made firstly because it was crowd-free, relaxed and peaceful shopping experience and also because the GIANT BAFANA shirt was there!! The patriotic nature that this World Cup has instilled in everyone is so contagious and ever more prevalent wherever people are celebrating the countdown of this World Cup via all the exciting events much like Bafana Shirt signing.

By this stage, if you have not accustomed yourself to the Vuvuzela, bought a Bafana Shirt, own a South African flag, YOU.ARE.ON.YOUR.OWN!!!

FEEL IT, IT'S HERE!!
